| Home | (Guardian) - Two Britons were among five foreign oil workers kidnapped during a shootout at a bar in Nigeria at the weekend, the latest in a wave of kidnappings by militants campaigning against what they see as oil profiteering by western countries. Two of the victims were identified by police as John Guyan, a Briton working for Smith International, and Brayan Fogerty, an American working for Halliburton. |
