| Home | (The Associated Press) - LAGOS, Nigeria: Gunmen attacked an oil facility in restive southern Nigeria overnight and took two foreigners hostage, private security contractors said Monday. Separately, colleagues reported that two senior Nigerian employees of the oil firm Royal Dutch Shell PLC were being held following a weekend attack. Late Sunday night, speedboats full of gunmen attacked an oil facility on Calabar River, the two security contractors said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the press. |
